This week as been a bit of a struggle .... and it's only wednesday. Monday was just overwhelming with exams, quizzes, presentations, and a surprise project added to my schedule that we only have a week to complete (which involved having to find someone with leukemia and do an interview with them) ... ummm, I don't know anyone with cancer so this could be a bit of a struggle lol. Then Tuesday I had my clinical at the wound care center. Driving home from clinical I got a flat tire :/ of course Joe was already at work at AAA was not answering my phone calls. After an hour of waiting in my car, I was able to get AAA to come out and change my tire (I should probably learn how to change my own tire). Today has been going fairly well but I don't want to jinx it. I got my pre-surgery physical done, my mantou, and dropped my flat tire off to get fixed :)
Hoping the rest of this week runs smoothly.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy belated Valentine's day!
This was my first valentine's day with an actual valentine :) It was awesome of course since I got to be with my awesome boyfriend all day. We made brunch together and then went out to dinner at Water's Edge. It was DELICIOUS! Hartze was nice enough to take a picture of use (since we never take pictures together lol). I'm very thankful and happy to have such an amazing guy to call my valentine.

Now back to the reality of of studying and other "fun" stuff. But this semester is going by CRAZY fast so I can't complain too much. So excited to see where this year takes me!

School, school, school
Soooo, really the only thing interesting I have to talk about now days is school lol (since all I basically do is study). It's been a pretty busy semester, but it is going super well. I love my med-surg and public health clinical (still dislike how long simchart takes though). Thankfully I'm done with simchart for awhile since I won't have clinical at the hospital for a few weeks and then I have a 2 patient assignment so I will be filling out a mini care plan instead :)
The only bummer about this semester being so busy is that I really don't have time to go home and visit the family :/ So it was really nice that my dad was able to come up yesterday. We went to red lobster :) I wish I could see the rest of my family (and I miss my kitty!). I'm looking forward to spring break because I will definitely get to spend time with my family since I'll be sitting at home recovering from my surgery. So excited to FINALLY get this surgery done so I can breath through my nose again :)
Also, I wanted to share two hair products that I LOVE using. It makes your hair amazingly soft. Either one is an awesome product (don't use both at the same time or your hair will be mega oily).
The first one is "renewing moroccan argan oil." This stuff if AMAZING! just make sure you apply a small amount and start from the ends of your hair (otherwise the top of your head can look greasy).

The second one is "Silk Essentials." With this product you start at the scalp and work your way down your hair. Make sure you use no more than 3 drops. A little bit goes a long way with this product!
